Adidas Previews the FIFA World Cup Battle Pack Collection - With the FIFA World Cup on the horizon, just about everyone is getting ready. For the event, adidas is set to release their FIFA World Cup "Battle Pack" collection. The collection will feature five new cleats out of adidas's major line, including Lionel Messi's signature adizero F50, Predator, Nitrocharge, and 11pro. Each pack will display its own signature black and white pattern.
Messi, the biggest star of the bunch, will get his own colorway, matching the color of the jerseys for his native Argentina. The motto for the pack is, "all in or nothing," exemplifying the ideals of the athletes who will be wearing it when World Cup action gets underway. In adidas's own words, the World Cup is "about teamwork, togetherness, passion and whole nations uniting and coming together for a common cause."
You will see a lot of the Battle Pack around World Cup time, as each adidas-sponsored player will wear it. This includes the likes of Messi, Mesut Ozil, Dani Alves, Luis Saurez, Oscar, Philipp Lahm, Karim Benzema, Javi Martinez, and Jozy Altidore. The cleats will first debut on the field during the UEFA Champions League final on May 24 in Spain. The collection will hit stores on May 26, but an exclusive pre-order offer is going down right now at www.adidas.com. The Battle Pack shoes are set to range in price from $165 to $220.
